Assalamualaikum warahmatullah and have a nice day....
This is my third semester in pursuing my Degree in Science (Biology), it was just like a blink of eyes for time to pass second by second and now, i am in the last month for this semester. I feel great to highlight that this semester i am taking a Biology course called ICT in Biology.
ICT in Biology is a course that teach us how to teach by using technology application. From 14 weeks of undergoing this course i realized, the usage of ICT in Biology is to make the teaching and learning process more easier and it is both teacher and students friendly. ICT in Biology consist of the "Interactive White Board (IWB) or Smart Board", e-portfolio, data logging, Simulation and Modelling. Not like other subject that we left behind after learning new subject, the teaching and learning about IWB is run for the whole semester because although we already learn about data logging Simulation and Modelling, the presentation for the whole semester is still using the IWB technology.
Learning IWB or Smart Board, e-portfolio, data logging, Simulation and Modelling is a very precious experience for me. It create my new persperctive that we as a techer have to be creative in making our teaching process and the students learning process more attractive. As a techer, we also have to be up to date and apply the new technology that are relate to elicit and encourage the students to achieve the learning objective better.
Lastly, i agree to the fact that those technology are very essentials for us to apply it to make our country education field as advance as other country that famous with its technology. It is us as teacher to show to the students the right way of applying daily technology.
